Vulnerable Road Users
As professional drivers we are expected to be at the top of our game when interacting with vulnerable road users at work. Changes coming to the highway code in January make it a legally enforceable duty to care for the other members of the public with whom we share our ‘office’.
The Vulnerable Road Users Driver CPC course is designed to make drivers more aware of the variety of vulnerable road users and the behaviours we can expect from them. The course also looks in depth at some of the new road systems which have been developed to protect VRUs in shared user road spaces.
This course is available to LGV and PCV drivers.
