Operators Licence Awareness Training (OLAT) – LGV Only
This 7 hour Driver CPC Periodic Training course is designed to bring the driver into the compliance team for a road haulage business by giving a firm grounding in the requirements of Operator Licensing. The course is actually day 1 of our Transport Manager Refresher course for road haulage.
Drivers learn about the process of applying for a Goods Vehicle Operators Licence. The different types of licence are discussed along with the varying requirements for Restricted, Standard National and Standard International undertakings. We also look at record keeping requirements, maintenance requirements and OCRS.
This course is available to LGV drivers only.

Timings are approximate. Delegates are required to be on time for the course. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to participate and will be recorded as a no show. No refund will be given. JAUPT and DVSA require that 7 hours of course delivery take place. Delegates will not be permitted to leave early and receive Driver CPC upload credits.
