
Delivering the Goods & Driver Welfare – LGV Only
We spend this 7 hour Driver CPC periodic training course looking at safe and customer focused practices at delivery points and driver’s health and mental wellbeing. The morning is spent looking at various delivery locations and the best practice for carrying out safe deliveries.
The afternoon session focuses is all about the load. We discuss the requirements for load security and how the DVSA will judge if a load is suitably restrained. We talk about the various load securing systems in detail and share best practice when it comes to strapping, roping, sheeting and barring product on vehicles.
This course is available to LGV drivers only.

Timings are approximate. Delegates are required to be on time for the course. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to participate and will be recorded as a no show. No refund will be given. JAUPT and DVSA require that 7 hours of course delivery take place. Delegates will not be permitted to leave early and receive Driver CPC upload credits.
